How to Add and Activate a WhatsApp Channel in Callsavvy
To integrate WhatsApp as a communication channel in your Callsavvy business account, please follow the steps below. Ensure that you have a working and registered WhatsApp account on your mobile device before proceeding.
Adding a WhatsApp Channel
1. Navigate to Social Integrations

Go to System Settings > Social Integrations.
2. Create a New Channel

Click Create Channel.

Select WhatsApp from the list of available platforms.
3. Configure the Channel

Title: Enter a name to identify the WhatsApp channel (e.g., Sales WhatsApp).

WhatsApp Number (optional): Enter the phone number associated with your WhatsApp account.

Department (optional): Assign the channel to a specific department if needed.
4. Finalize Creation

Click Add Channel to save and create the WhatsApp channel.
Pairing the WhatsApp Device
Once the channel has been created:
5. Generate the QR Code

Click Pair Device next to the newly created channel to generate a QR code.
6. Scan the QR Code

Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code using your WhatsApp mobile app.

Wait for WhatsApp to complete synchronization.
7. Confirmation

A confirmation message will appear both in Callsavvy and on your WhatsApp app once the pairing is successful.
⚠️ Important: Deleting a WhatsApp channel after activation does not reverse the activation charge. It only prevents future billing for that channel.
