Hey! How can we help?

Routing SIM Card Calls to Callsavvy via Yeastar Gateway

This guide explains how to connect your Yeastar GSM Gateway (TG series or TA series with GSM modules) to the Callsavvy platform. By following these steps, inbound calls to your physical SIM cards will be automatically routed to your Callsavvy workplace.

⚠️ Pre-Configuration Requirement
Before proceeding with the hardware setup, you must ensure that your SIM card number is already assigned to your Callsavvy account.
  1. Log in to Callsavvy and navigate to Admin & Settings > Phone Numbers to verify your SIM number is listed under your assigned phone numbers.
  2. If the number is not listed, please contact our our Support Team to request that your SIM line be added as an inbound phone number on your account. You cannot receive calls until this mapping is completed.

Phase 1: Obtain Your Callsavvy SIP Credentials
Before configuring the hardware, you must generate unique connection details within the Callsavvy workplace.
  1. Log in to your Callsavvy account.
  2. Navigate to Admin & Settings > Business Settings > SIP Credentials.
  3. Click Create New Credentials.
  4. Once created, securely copy the following details:
    • Username
    • Password
    • Host (Server Address)
    • Port

Phase 2: Configure the Yeastar SIP Trunk
Now, you must tell your Yeastar gateway how to "log in" to Callsavvy.

  1. Access your Yeastar Web Interface.
  2. Go to Gateway > VoIP Settings > VoIP Trunk.
  3. Click Add VoIP Trunk and set the following:
    • Trunk Type: Register Trunk / Account Mode.
    • Provider Name: Callsavvy.
    • Hostname/IP: (Paste the Host from Phase 1).
    • Port: (Paste the Port from Phase 1).
    • Domain: (Paste the Host from Phase 1).
    • User Name: (Paste the Username from Phase 1).
    • Authentication Name: (Paste the Username from Phase 1).
    • Password: (Paste the Password from Phase 1).
  4. Click Save and Apply Changes. Ensure the status shows as "Registered" or "OK" in the Status Monitor.

Phase 3: Route Inbound SIM Calls (The "Hotline" Step)
To ensure calls hitting your SIM card are pushed to CallSavvy, you must create a "Mobile-to-IP" route.

  1. Navigate to Gateway > Route Settings > Mobile to IP.
  2. Click Add Mobile to IP Route.
  3. Route Name: SIM_to_CallSavvy.
  4. Call Source: Select the GSM/SIM slot you wish to use.
  5. Call Destination: Select the CallSavvy SIP Trunk you created in Phase 2.
  6. Hotline (Critical): Enter the exact phone number of the SIM card, including the country code (e.g., +125550123). Note: This acts as the identifier so Callsavvy knows which line is receiving the call.
  7. Click Save and Apply Changes.

Phase 4: Final Testing

  • Place a test call from a mobile phone to your Yeastar SIM card number.
  • The call should be instantly picked up by the Yeastar gateway and handed off to your Callsavvy account.
  • If the call fails, verify that your Hotline number matches the SIM card number.
